TechEd Keynote

This Emulator DJ table was the one that was being used before each of the TechEd keynotes. Pretty interesting technology and keeps reminding me of Minority Report. I wonder if this translates to any other industries. Can you see these at McDonalds or at a doctors office?

TechEd Day 267

It obviously hasn’t been 267 days, but it sure feels like it. Between all the sessions and the nightly activities I feel like I haven’t sat down for more than 2 seconds all week. TechEd Day 3

There wasn’t a keynote today so it was classes all day long. I went to a couple good ones: big data with hadoop and one about mono. It interesting to see MS pump resources into something like Hadoop. The new SQL server is going to have a connector so getting data should be pretty seamless. read more »

TechEd Day 1

Glorious TechEd day one has passed and it was pretty fun. The scale of this event is pretty amazing. The convention center seems like an endless sea of nerds for most of the day. TechEd Day 2

Keynote was all about Windows 8 interface, enterprise features, and development. Some interesting stuff was in here, but again nothing ground breaking.
